Netflix and Polish production studio Platige Image have announced that a Witcher TV series is in production. Based on the series of books started in the 1980s by author Andrzej Sapkovski and of course the immensely popular video game series, this new TV series could be running as a major rival to Game of Thrones.

There are a tonne of similarities between the two properties and with a main character like Geralt of Rivia and his love of ladies, we could be looking at our latest addiction.
