With the unprecedented upheaval of the gaming industry, Method Esports is now under fire for alleged misconduct at an executive level within their organization. While I want to be careful to comment on the nature of these allegations - I wanted to make a video about the implications they have on the industry as a whole.
Twitch streaming and the gaming industry are changed forever as a result of the last few days. In this video I want to explain some details from the agency world, and what happens in the potential dissolution of a team like this. There's an interesting backend that goes on that many people might not realize.
Prominent streamers Esfand, Zizaran, Havoc, nmplol, and Nugiyen have now removed Method branding and are considering next steps.
It occurs to me after filming this video that I had a lot of pauses and interruptions in my speech. I was being VERY careful with how I structured my sentences because of the difficult nature of filming this video with the context I have. I wanted to make sure that I did not take a position on Method's allegations themselves, but addressed the finer points of the business instead.
