The latest Phil Spencer interview seems to point to more evolution for the Xbox platform. He refers to Xbox as a community even with respect to PlayStation and Nintendo and other devices. It seems as though the ecosystem evolution of Xbox Game Pass may look more like a video game publisher than we initially thought.

The Xbox Activision deal isn't the latest Xbox news but it certainly is changing the way Phil Spencer sees the brand. The recent Famitsu interview goes beyond Call of Duty and sounds like the platform is becoming a publisher.
