Is Youtube spying on me? Unexplained attempt to access my Laptops Microphone

Not really sure what to make of this but I will definitely be following up with Youtube and google and asking for a detailed explanation of why they requested to access my Microphone while watching video's on my Laptop that would not require any microphone access.

Facts:
1 I did not try a voice search prior to this.
2 The attempt was blocked via my settings.
3 There was no reason for me to be recording my voice and or allowing other access to it.
4 My webcam is not accessible either as I have it taped up with black electrical tape (highly recommended btw).
5 I could not replicate this
6 I do not have a mic plugged into my Laptop not was I plugging one in that would have prompted this pop up
7 with out the pop ups googe/youtube would have been able to access my laptops internal Microphone and listen in on me.
8 I have no Beef with Youtube / google nor have I been under any youtube investigations and I have no strikes against my channel
9 I mainly do product reviews and I have no top secret information, I'm a pretty boring person to be honest.
10 This is weird as eff and I just don't understand why this site attempted to access my Microphone.
