Gruselige Sicherheitslücke ermöglicht erheblichen Eingriff in die Privatsphäre anderer Mac-User: Ein Forscher-Duo von der Johns-Hopkins-University hat es geschafft den sogenannten Hardware-Interlock (Verzahnung) zu umgehen, welcher normalerweise immer die kleine grüne Status-LED aufleuchten lässt, sobald man seine iSight Kamera am Mac benutzt. Das ermöglicht selbstverständlich einen sensiblen Fernzugriff (Remote Access) auf euren Mac, ohne, dass ihr etwas davon mitbekommt.
