Isles of Etherion - A Brilliant Spellweaving system let down by lack of polish
4The spellcasting is really cool. I enjoyed setting the tornado on fire. However, the quest system doesn't seem to work. Flying is a mixed bag at best, and traversal is slow regardless. Enemies attack or don't and the way you can tell is that your health bar goes down. The world is big and bright and I really do like the verticality of it. The camera is a huge issue and glitches often when flying. Not sure if the destructible environments are worth the headache they are probably causing. This is an extremely ambitious game for a solo dev. I do wish them all the best and am genuinely very pleased to see that they are still working on it. Best advice is to polish the first 2 hours of gameplay to a mirror sheen, then expand from there. This is definitely not worth $24.79 NZD.
