It is 100% possible to "dupe" items in Dark Souls 3

Item duplication is fairly easy. I'm not sure I should share how this is done as it's easy to find out how with google. This same method has been used throughout the Souls game series and Borderlands.

Ok so, you need a buddy and an external hdd.
First thing to do is acquire items (not leveled up unless your friend also has leveled up items) or souls that you want to duplicate. Boss souls do not work.
Second make a backup of your save game file.
Then go into your buddies game and drop all the things you want to duplicate.
Reload your game from your save.
You will keep your stuff and your friend will have a copy.
Repeat this as much as you want alternating between yourself and your friend. You can double stacks until you reach 99 in your inventory and 600 in your stash.
