It is Our Hope that Saved Us
Hello, it is my honor to share with you the circle of my thoughts as I read the beautiful poem written by Kim Seung Hee which is entitled, "Hope is Lonely."
This is my first entry for the Korean Literature Review Contest.
Thank you for spending time checking out my video. All of the videos used are captured here in Australia. The poem in the background is created and narrated by me as well.
Through this literature review, I pray that we'll all feel that "hope truly doesn't disappoint any of us..."
Sending love,
Cheenee

It is Our Hope that Saved Us
By: Cheenee Roazul
I
How do you feel when you are alone?
How do you feel when you feel like nothing’s going on?
Do you ask yourself “What do I do?”
Or it is just hope that is holding you?
II
I feel like hope is often judged,
Not because it is a word used by many a lot,
But because it seems like some feel like hope is gone,
That makes it sad and hard.
III
Paul said in Romans that “Hope does not disappoint us…”
Why do you think he mentioned, “us”?
Is it just because he’s trying to generalize?
Or it is true that when we have hope everything will just pass?
IV
Indeed, not everyone has the same belief as me,
Like how hope is seen in the poem, “Hope is Lonely” …
It was stated that “because there are many doors, doesn’t mean there are many ways to escape” by Kim Seung-Hee,
But in contrast, isn’t it still hope that there might not be many ways to escape but there still might be “few”?
V
Undeniably, life is a journey with different paths,
Just like any action, good or bad, may lead to several aftermaths,
But still, at the end of the day, we will all realize,
That it is our hope that saved us.
