However, even after Denji kidnaps one of Samurai Sword's friends, Samurai Sword cuts through both of them until Denji is apprehended. Makima, who had appeared to be dead, is actually still alive. With the aid of Public Safety Devil Hunters from Kyoto, Kurose, and Tendo, she embarks on her mission to save Denji.
