It Only Takes One Inning - MLB The Show 22 Diamond Dynasty Pack Attack [Ep 40]
Pack Attack is finally back! I had plans to bring this series back from the start of the year, and for one reason or another, it never got started. But, we still have plenty of year left to still bring this series back and have some fun with it.
For anyone unfamiliar, Pack Attack is a series where the only players I can use are players that I pull from packs, and the only way to earn packs is by playing on ranked seasons with those players. I attached stub values to various statistical goals, and as we accumulate stats in a ranked game, we also accumulate stubs. After each game, we buy however many packs we can with the amount of stubs made in the game. Anyone we pull that upgrades the team will be added to the team, and anyone that isn't will be sold and the stubs made from the sale go to our stub bank.

Total Bases = 200 stubs
Walk = 200 stubs
HBP = 200 stubs

Stolen Base = 200 stubs
Every 5 Hits = 500 stubs
Cycle = 5000 stubs
Multi-HR Game = 2000 stubs
Back to Back HR = 1000 stubs + 1000 more for each additional HR in a row
10 Run Game = 3000 stubs
Strikeout = -100 stubs

Every Out = 200 stubs
Hits Allowed = -200 stubs
BB Allowed = -200 stubs
HBP = -200 stubs
Runs Allowed = -500 stubs
K's = 200 stubs
Pickoff/CS = 200 stubs
Shutout = 1500 stubs

CG Shutout = 1500 stubs
No Hitter = 5000 stubs
Perfect Game = 5000 stubs

Win = 1500 stubs

RULES:
After 80 episodes of this series last year, some things came up from time to time that I figure might be helpful to clarify in writing so that we're all on the same page.
Rule 01: Final stub count after each game will be rounded up or rounded down to the nearest pack. Leftover stubs will be added to the bank, while extra stubs needed will be taken from the bank as needed.
Rule 02: If a player gets sold or removed from the roster, he would need to be pulled again in order to be added back to the team.
Rule 03: 3 innings pitched is the threshold for a complete game. If the opponent quits before 3 innings are completed, a second game will be played in the episode. Of the two games, whichever made the most stubs from the hitting and pitching categories pre-multiplier will be the game that counts. Stubs earned from the bonus category will be counted for both games.
Rule 04: For no hitters or perfect games to count if the opponent quits, at least 7 innings pitched must be completed.
Rule 05: Free Packs or pack that contain primarily unsellable items cannot be opened to upgrade the team.
Rule 06: Cards pulled from packs purchased using stubs from the bank that do not get added to the team cannot be sold to add more stubs to the bank. Once stub bank stubs are spent, they're gone.
