GM Mitrabha Guha became India's 72nd Grandmaster days before Tata Steel Chess India 2021 Rapid and Blitz. Then he went on to have a fantastic debut at the World Rapid 2021. Just a few days before Tata Steel Chess India 2022 Rapid and Blitz, once again he delivered a strong performance by clinching Silver at Commonwealth Chess Championship 2022. While he attended both editions in his homecity, Kolkata as a spectator, he certainly hopes to play this event one day.
