Using a seed on the quick use menu on the same frame as interacting with the magic pot allows you to consume it while in the planting menu. If you plant all your seeds afterwards, your seed count will underflow. You can plant the seeds infinitely, but doing so only gives you candy and blessed bracelets due to how item seeds work. To return your seed count to normal, simply pick another item seed up.
