Molebear Moors early
This uses walking while talking as a solo character. This method works as any character, but requires a battle zone with a sign (or NPC) close to the edge of it.
To perform this skip, stand at the edge of the battle area (you can use ring menu buffering to nudge your character to the edge of the area). Pull your weapon out by doing an aerial slash, then pull up the quick use menu. Now move out of the battle zone and on the frame your character leaves the area, use an item and pull up the ring menu at the same time (If you see the character with their weapon out, you've done it correctly). Now use a second item from the ring menu. After the animation plays out for the first item, you have a brief period to interact with the sign before the second animation begins (I just mash A here). If everything was done correctly, you should see your character put away their weapon while the sign text is active. wait until the animation completes, and then you can move through the cutscene trigger.
There are easier ways of getting to Molebear Moors early, but this was the first way I found how to do it, and it shows off a very crucial way of getting WWT as a solo character since other methods have restrictions which limit their usefulness.
