It's a metaphor if you squint - Engage "New Choice" Challenge Run

This is "New Choice", my original challenge run in which any choice I make has a 15% chance to be rejected outright, forcing me to come up with increasingly deranged backup plans on the spot.

TL;DR Rules:
New Choice: Whenever I confirm an action, there is a 15% chance that my choice will just get rejected and I have to come up with something new. Some crucial actions like Wait or Seize cannot be New Choiced, but most other things are fair game. The exact way I define a "new choice" is detailed in the pastebin above, though I tried to keep the rules simple and intuitive. The guidelines are just there as an FAQ to have all the little nuances of the rules codified in advance.
Is this an Iron Man?
Sorta. Not really. I am allowed to rewind when a unit dies, but I am heavily penalized for doing so. The main punishment is that the revived unit has their bond with their equipped emblem severed, meaning they can never deploy with that emblem (or with skills inherited from that emblem) ever again. If this penalty cannot apply, we instead spin a wheel of other possible punishments. See the pastebin above for full details and edge cases.
