At the "Install bootloader" stage it's better to select (VBR only) option, either ReactOS may not boot. MainBoard is of Intel G31/G33 Series. HDD is a PATA/IDE hard disk.
This video may be useful for them who are interested to try out ReactOS on their PCs. If there is 100MB System Reserved partition on the HDD, one may have to delete that partition during installing ReactOS (of course it would be the 2nd trial then :-)) if ReactOS doesn't start. But I haven't tested it. So, risk is yours (if any).
LiveCD is an alternative that would not damage your Hard Disk.
