Jabra has released new TWS earbuds, the Elite 4. They've added $20 to the price compared to their predecessor (the Elite 3 cost $79.99), but they've also received a technical upgrade.
Two significant innovations can be singled out. The first is a system of active noise absorption. The second is the technology of simultaneous connection to several sound sources. Thanks to the latter, it is much more comfortable to switch between different devices to listen to music or answer a call. Jabra also added support for Microsoft Swift Pair technology to quickly connect the headphones to Windows computers (plus there is support for Google Fast Pair, just like its predecessor).
The rest of the characteristics remained almost unchanged. Elite 4 are equipped with 6 mm drivers and also offer similar battery life as Elite 3 – up to 7 hours of operation from one charge and up to 28 hours, including recharging in the case. However, with the ANC system on, the figures drop slightly — up to 5.5 hours of battery life and up to 22 hours including the case. Also, the headphones have four microphones and are protected against moisture according to the IP55 class. There is support for aptX and SBC codecs, as well as voice assistants Siri and Google Assistant.
