The Jagannath Rath Yatra marks the annual journey of Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra, and their aunt Devi Gundicha in chariots drawn by devotees.

Every year, the Yatra is celebrated by the devotees through the streets of Puri to the Gundicha temple, a few kilometres away.

This year the RathYatra festival is being celebrated on July 12, in the town of Puri, Odisha.
