Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy - One Cycle Plants Tutorial/Routine [Poly]
:: Overview::
One thing that has helped me a lot lately is building routines for tricks I have already learned in my speed game. For me personally, my execution isn't always consistent so to make up for that I try to make sure that my understanding is by building a personalized consistent routine that I can update and improve upon as my skills increase.
Doing so has a few benefits...when I fail execution it is much easier to see/understand what went wrong because I can see where I deviated from my routine. It also helps me build a better understanding of the trick. I am not just mindlessly attempting it, instead, I am following a more strategic approach that over time helps me understand what works and what doesn't. This develops confidence, which as a result allows for consistency.
I seriously recommend people do the same for themselves whether you struggle with execution or not. This way you can better help others and yourself. I just decided to make videos as I progress. I see it this way: the more content the better. It may get annoying having a lot of content but sometimes one person's method can really help things click better and it can also help you develop your own methods and so on and so forth.
It creates a sort of chain of knowledge and you never know who will benefit from what you shared. I have personally learned something from almost every runner I have watched regardless of skill level. That is only possible if people are open to making and sharing content whether it is on Twitch or Youtube (or any other platform).
So I encourage you to make your own speedrunning routines/tutorials.

:: About Me ::
I am an autistic person, gamer, and speedrunner that has a passion for learning all sorts of things about myself, others, and the world around me. I understand that this is a continuous process that I will take part in for the rest of my life. I strive to get better at all that I do and ask as many questions as possible. I want to share this process with others by making content and I hope that you stick around! I would love to have you. Your perspective has value here :).
