Kor needed that Precursor Stone so Kor kills Baron and his men. Jak could remember his word by the Baron: The first rule of making the bomb is to always make two. He said it just before he died. Jak and Daxter has now have the Stone to take to the weapon in the Metal Head Nest to blast it open.
