its pretty much needing fully re-wired at this point, and we are in the prosses of completely changeing how starting works to make it more reliable. the factory solenoid plunger relay combo thing is just a terrible idea and is being bypassed instead of fixed. it would be nice if we could find the flakey connection causing most of the vans 12v things to just give up. but right now we are attacking the failing high current problems. (and converting it to run an under the hood starter relay)
