This is the Jampetable World Cup 2015. This tournament is equivalent with the Jampetable Cup 2015. Difference is that the World Cup is all about countries. The format of this tournament is quite comprehensive. Down below are two links listed with more information about this tournament. Every video in the group stages will be about 30 minutes long! Some are big matches (rivalry or two top 25 teams (FIFA or ELO ranking) or whatever reason). This basically means there will be more highlights, but in practice there won't be much difference, because I want to show you as much as possible from this particular tournament. In the next section I will explain the basics of the format of this tournament.
All 47 international teams from FIFA 15 are selected to play in this tournament. The teams are randomly selected into groups.
In round 1 there will be 11 groups with 4 teams each and 1 group with 3 (Group L) teams to match the 47 teams in total. All matches in round 1 are played in english venues. The groups are based on normal FIFA World Cup format, which means there are 6 games in every group (except for Group L (3 games)) and the top two teams of each group qualify for the next round. How this works is to be found in the link.
Round 2 consists of 6 groups and there are same rules as in round 1. Matches are now played in different venues across the whole world. Top 2 teams qualify for the round of 16 and to match that number 16 (6*2=12) there is an extra playoff round. All number 3s of every group proceeds to the playoffs. In this round there are 2 groups with 3 teams. The best 2 teams qualify at last for the round of 16.
From the round of 16 the format is quite straight forward. The bronze medal game will take place in Camp Nou and the final, just like the Jampetable Cup at Wembley. Enjoy!
