This video is about my post op recovery from double jaw (orthognathic) surgery, where my upper and lower jaws were moved in order to correct my underbite (severe malocclusion). In this video I cover my experience of the surgery itself, the bleeding, the pain, the discomfort and the swelling, and how much I have recovered since the day of the surgery.

This video comes from the perspective of an Asian (Chinese) male adult, father of two young children, with surgery based in the UK performed by the NHS in London.

Many thanks to the orthodontists at Eastman Dental Hospital (particularly Professor Cunningham) and the maxillofacial surgeons at University College Hospital (Doctor Lloyd), as well as the NHS for funding this surgery for providing such excellent care and support.
