New
• Added new base targeting hordes. This system is work-in-progress, but testing of the essential components will be useful.
Hordes now have a chance of targeting bases. The larger the base and the more storage inside, the higher the chance of an attack. Players will receive a notification when this happens.
• Player base invasions only happen while the player is in the general vicinity.
• Base targeting infected hordes will focus on breaking in to bases and will attempt to damage storage containers.
• Base targeting infected will prioritise players or other NPCs over damaging base installations if they notice them.
• Storage containers are targets for horde infected to attack. Damaged containers with show a flashing icon. If destroyed, container will loose half it's contents.
• Damaged storage containers can be repaired. Destroyed containers cost more to repair.
• Added Saul character to Saul's Farm.
• Added new fetch quest style missions, to collect items or gather resources for cash and items.
• Added new NPC Favor system. Speaking to an individual NPC could unlock new hidden dialogue trees for free items and quests with themselves or other NPCs.
• Added functionality for skill and crafting blueprints, when read the player will gain skills, XP or even unlock crafting recipes.
• Added lootable book shelves, that have a low chance of giving skill and crafting blueprints.
• Added a new model for Lexi in the Hanouten Backwater Beacon safe zone.
• Added Stoned buff. This buff lasts for 600 seconds (10 minutes) and counter acts the sickness buff. Please note this will not cure it.
• New craftable "Reefer" - Counter acts the effects of spore sickness. It does NOT cure it but will stop it automatically getting worse.
• New resource cigarette rolling papers.
• New resource Marijuana Bud, used in crafting.
• New tradable item "Marijuana Brick" a 5kg brick of Marijuana that some NPCs will trade for.
• New under the influence effect, that will effect visuals when consuming drugs or alcohol.
• Added new Secure Containers. Can be crafting at the Workbench. If this container is destroyed, the container will protect the items inside.
However, the damage will need to be repaired before the items inside can be recovered.
Updates
• Some crafting recipes are now locked and require one of the fifteen added types of crafting blueprints to unlock.
• System has been put in place to wipe all crafting recipes from later loaded save games to guarantee new mechanics will work. (UNTESTED)
• Locked tools chests and kitchen cabinets have a small chance of dropping Skill and Crafting blueprints.
• Energised buff now lasts for 300 seconds (5 minutes) instead of 60 seconds.
• James Bell's dialogue has been adjusted to only talk about the location and who he is in survivor mode.
• Items will no longer show in the vicinity if the item requires you to talk to an NPC to take it.
• Shipwrecks are no longer marked on the map until discovered and can be found by birds circling above the area.
• Warmth buff now lasts for 300 seconds (2 minutes) instead of 120 seconds.
• Larger containers have a higher number of hit points compared with smaller ones.
Fixes
• Fixed infected not being able to damage player built structures unless the player is in the nearby vicinity.
• Fixed issues where horde spawned infected may lose interest in their targets.
• Fixed harvesting animation not playing when harvesting with a melee weapon for some plant types.
• Fixed NPCs not correctly disengaging from their targets if they loose line of sight for long enough period of time.
• Fixed issues with placement indicator after using a place able item with the building mallet already in-hand
