OpenJK is a project to make these old games compatible with modern operating systems. It does nothing new, just updates libraries and adds more operating systems as options. It works for Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcasts, it is used as a base for mods however, and being as it is ioQuake3 based, it makes it easier to understand and cheat with.
