Game description:

Jenny was left behind by her family, lost in the prairie. Players needed to keep her safe, fed and watered as she prepared herself for the coming winter. She could chop wood for a fire, pick flowers, pick wheat, fish, hunt rabbits for food and for fur to keep warm. She could also attempt to tame a fox. She needed to run from the mountain lion and rattlesnake. If they got to Jenny it was game over.

Jenny of the Prairie was one of the first videogames ever that featured a female protagonist.


What I think:

A really fun survival-adventure.
However, I have some complaints:

a) Why does Jenny look like a mix of a human and a bird?!
b) The sound when the fire goes out is horrendous!
