Jerp plays Sekiro pt.7 (2019-04-14)
1Ok, the Guardian Ape is straight up nightmare fuel. The way it moves is like a great take on what was said about the Dancer of the Boreal Valley, where it has this ridiculously, frighteningly unnatural movement.
Afterwards I finally get to go back and kill one of those super tough paranormal enemies, and get a fantastic item that'll help with tool use throughout the game.
Further in we make our way into the Valley of Defilement, Blighttown, Farron Swamp, etc. and our worst nightmare is realized (though honestly it wasn't so bad this time).
Next area does a fantastic job of preying on my complete inability to navigate, though perhaps I'm at an advantage if I never know where I'm going anyways. Once the mist is cleared, the miniboss that follows is pretty cool (and a refreshingly calm change of pace from some of the earlier battles).
Later I get to encounter a certain someone from some of the promotional material - and by far my favorite battle music in the game.
