Reliance Industries' Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, announced that Jio will ensure to offer "the highest quality and most affordable rates that anyone else has in the world." The telecom operator is promising to offer 5G to each corner of India by December 2023. Airtel has announced that it will roll out 5G in 8 cities starting today.
The Jio Book laptop sports an 11.6-inch HD display with a 1366×768 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU for graphics. The chipset used is quite dated for today's standards but considering the price, we can't complain much. The Jio Book 4G's body is made of plastic and there's a 'Jio' logo on the lid. We also see Jio written on the Windows button on the keyboard.
Only government departments can shop here and we speculate that general availability might happen during Diwali.
