Joshua Shapiro is an American watchmaker, entrepreneur, guillocheur, and former high school principal. From his studio in Los Angeles, Josh creates his J.N. Shapiro brand luxury watches in limited quantities of a few dozen per year. Josh is a self taught artisan whose expanding watch brand has undertaken fabrication of cases, dials, and movements.
While the initial J.N. Shapiro Infinity Series of watches employs a German-made UWD manual wind movement, the next generation of watches from this young American watchmaker will be fabricated entirely in-house to create one of the world's smallest integrated watch manufactures. Josh has collaborated with major watch industry figures including master watchmaker David Walter, American watch collector William Massena, and Habring of Austria.
