John Murphy's Favorite Character to Compose Music for in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
In an exclusive interview at Comic-Con, John Murphy, the composer of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, shared his insights on creating the musical score for the upcoming Marvel film. Murphy said he had a lot of fun working on the soundtrack, but he especially enjoyed making music for Rocket, the genetically engineered raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper. "Rocket is such a complex and fascinating character, with a lot of humor and heart. I wanted to capture his personality and his journey in the film with some unique sounds and themes," Murphy explained. He added that he used a variety of instruments and techniques to create Rocket's musical identity, such as synthesizers, electric guitars, and even some animal noises. "I hope the fans will love it as much as I do," he concluded.
