The Sims 4 Interior Design Challenge 18
Interpret the "Mom" theme, decorate the room creatively, and share it with the community!
ℹ ️ Here's how:
1. Go to any empty lot in The Sims 4 in Build Mode.
2. Drag a short wall piece anywhere and set the wall height to the medium level.
3. Download the room for the challenge. You can find it in The Sims 4 Gallery under the hashtag #IDC18 or under my EA ID: SIMFANS.
4. Place this room on your lot. Make sure it has the medium wall height.
5. Decorate it according to the rules.
6. Upload it back to the gallery as a "room" (not as a lot!) and add the hashtag #IDC18 in the description field.
Rules for The Sims 4 Interior Design Challenge 18 by Daniel SimFans:
ℹ ️ The theme is "Mom" - interpret it as you see fit and creatively implement your idea. Your room can be themed for the upcoming Mother's Day with a design featuring lots of hearts or flowers, for your real mother, or a Sims mom from your gameplay, with a child theme, a character trait that you symbolize, or what makes your mom special - or something completely different - it's up to you! The room doesn't have to be playable (but it can be). The main goal is to be creative around the theme and to express your own individual interpretation using the game tools and objects.
ℹ ️ It should be decorated like a theater stage set or for a catalog photo. So don't place any large or tall objects in front that would block the view.
ℹ ️ Build Mode: Platforms and walls must remain exactly as they are. Nothing may be added that would change the room itself. It is therefore not permitted to add, move, or delete walls/half-walls, etc., change the platform or wall heights, etc.
ℹ ️ Only the base game is required. However, all packs and sets are permitted. Custom content (CC) is not allowed. There is no Simoleon money limit.
Information:
It is permitted to add objects of any kind, including windows and doors, wallpaper, purchase mode objects, etc.
It is permitted to place objects on the non-existent ceiling, i.e., in the air, such as ceiling lights.
