Join me on my modified One Tile Challenge on Calm Lands ~ #fs25
17This will be a modified play through on the "One Tile" Challenge, the original was created by @ZorchFarming and inspired by @RustyMoneyGaming
THIS IS MULTIPLAYER - AND YES IT IS CONSOLE FRIENDLY!
I am looking for farmers to JOIN that will join regularly (the server will be up unless we are playing Gnadenthal so you can play this map anytime you want - even when I am not streaming.) I am not looking for 'one time' joiners that won't continue to play on this map and server. You also will have to want to play this challenge - but its pretty simple!
THE MODIFIED CHALLENGE: We will each start with $500,000 - you will have to purchase the Farmall 1206 ($130-$132k), the Cargo J50 Trailer ($9,000) and then you will then have me "spin the wheel" to see what property you start on (that costs up to $195,000.) Then you will place your $10,000 storage shed on your property - that will bring you down to roughly $150,000 to start with. The original challenge starts with roughly $130,000 after you buy/sell items on the map, so we will start a little easier due to multiplayer and wanting to have fun. The original challenge also starts you with $500,000 in debt, we will start with $250,000 debt on each farm.
THE MODIFIED CHALLENGE GOAL: Pay back all debt, and have at least +$250,000 in the bank with no debt, and also have placed a better house (you start with the option to place the container house mod - so a better house then that one.) That is it, there is no other goal for productions/animals/etc. This is slightly different goal from the original challenge.
ADDITIONAL CHALLENGE MAP INFO:
We will also start with "normal" economy instead of "hard" economy that the original challenge recommends. We will also have seasons turned off (original challenge has it on) because this will be a multiplayer server - I can provide a crop calendar if you would like to act like seasons is still turned on (I will be playing that way.)
Crop destruction is off as well.
Weeds, lime, plowing, and stones are all left on.
Precision Farming is not enabled on this map.
There is a community forklift at the shop - it must be left there and not end up at your farm :). You have 'contractor' rights to use it.
CONTRACTS: Since I can not disable contracts, please DO NOT do them. This is unfair to others, so just act like they are not there.
LEASING/BORROWING equipment is off limits. The original challenge doesn't say either way, but I would say it should not be a thing on the challenge.
You must keep the original tractor for the whole challenge - but you can buy other tractors as well.
Also NO solar panels/etc. and generating income that way. Greenhouses are okay.
If you are doing bales/pallets, use the bale/pallet storage in the $10,000 shed to prevent server lag please! Don't leave them on the ground/farmyard.
Sleeping through the night: Always leave your farm in a state of knowing others might get on and sleep through the night and your fields will grow/etc. Even with seasons turned off you might have a 'half grown' field if you leave half way through. If you want to sleep through the night while you are playing and there are others playing as well, talk to them and make sure they aren't half way through planting their fields/etc. - you may have to wait until they are finished. Good thing we only have one small piece of land it it shouldn't be a long wait!
You are responsible for changing/keeping your farm password safe to prevent others from getting on your farm when you are not on.
Please note: If you end up not playing for a few weeks I will consider your farm abandoned and may delete it if we have a 'wait list' for people waiting to get on and play as well. This may not happen, but warning in advance to communicate if you aren't going to be able to play for a while, I can try to keep your farm safe if you have real life commitments come up :).
