More football montages should feature Clairo music. This beats Messi's record of 73 goals in a single season from 2011/12. Lore for any PES fans down below. Not manual, I'm deeply sorry, on Superstar.

PES 2021 Master League season 2035/36 Brighton & Hove Albion. I bought Junior Messias because I was looking for the Messi regen after he had retired, but I only saw him as a 16 year old (regen from Crotone) and decided to buy him because I wanted to make him a Creative Playmaker to fill the role of a False 9. Played him as CF for 3 seasons as all my CFs were just not good enough until I bought a Huntelaar regen at 27 years old which allowed me to put him in the center and I spent all the money from the release fee of Mertens regen (300mil euro) into buying out the Messi regen from Barcelona but I played him as a winger cutting into the middle (same as Huntelaar), both intended to 1. score rebounds 2. provide passing options to Junior 3. make dummy runs for him. In the middle I had Meyer who I bought through the scout system (assuming he's a regen, never heard of him IRL though); Salva Sevilla (another player who I don't know IRL, assuming he's a regen too) playing as a substitute to him (he was there at the beginning of my project with Brighton so his experience was invaluable). Ndidi regen as my defensive midfielder (although beforehand I was using for 4-5 seasons D. Gosling from the original Brighton line up as defensive (I had transformed him into an Anchor Man as he was originally an Orchestrator or Destroyer I believe). In attacking midfielder I mostly used Zielinski who I transformed from a Box-To-Box into a Hole Player as he perfectly suited my need for someone to run past Huntelaar on the left and provide passing options or score goals himself (he was amazing, my best transformation of a player alongside Gosling). His substitutes were most of the time Birsa who, like Salva Sevilla was at the start of the project so he was just there for the younger players, or Messi himself as sometimes I'd play him in the midfield and Aubameyang on the right wing who I bought as a regen from Arsenal for around 100 mil euro. In the defense I had the best brick wall consisting of both Bruno Alves and Benatia who had amazing heading abilities and physical contacts on top of also having incredible long range passes reminiscent of Bonucci in Juventus. The first season after I bought Alves by paying out his release fee (I already had Benatia), I managed to go undefeated in the league and conceding only 15 goals although we got knocked out of the FA Cup in the round of 16s and lost the Champions League final to Chelsea. My two wide fullbacks are Marcelo and Di Lorenzo. I bought Di Lorenzo on a free which is one of the best deals I've made since he is just incredible and Marcelo came through our youth team but very quickly saw promotion and а first place spot. Other players who I've acquired through the youth system were Zielinski, Ndidi, Mertens (sold to PSG through release fee, although I had big plans for him) and a bunch of others who have all gone to different clubs. As a goalkeeper I've had Cassio since the day I joined the club and he has been simply outstanding, no better goalkeeper in the world than him and he is still only 28! https://i.imgur.com/Kg4UKfQ.png This was our formation with the arrows showcasing us in attack. We played a counter-attacking football through short passes down the middle but with the occasional wide pass to one of the two fullbacks pushing in. I had no need for a False 9 advanced tactic as the fact that Junior was a Creative Playmaker and Zielinski and Messi being Hole Players completely removed that need. Meyer played a number 6 role where he stood back and dictated the game (Orchestrator). Advanced tactics used were Attacking Fullbacks and Centering Targets. AF because I love having the wide passing option and incase I exercise it I love the three forwards queueing up in the middle (CT) for a low/high cross from Di Lorenzo or Marcelo. In defense we liked to press very highly up the pitch although that did lead to multiple wrong decisions. I used Counter Target on Junior to make sure he can be used as a passing option to distribute the ball to one of the two flanks who then would pass it back to him leaving him one on one with the goalkeeper which he usually finishes. Junior was rated 80 at the end of the season and 76 at the start. He was 69 when I first bought him at 16 years of age and I honestly cannot believe his dribbling ability and finishing despite the fact that neither of them are in the light blue area (90+). The entirety of my time at Brighton I've tried to replicate Pep Guardiola's Barcelona from 2010 and I came close on some of the players. Great team and I will definitely miss it but it's time we go on another challenge in the Bundesliga. Can't wait to face Brighton and their new manager in the UEFA Champions League. (Custom made jerseys by me.)
