Junkyard Simulator playthrough Part 08 New huge patch!
For all the information and all the "whys", please read the description of Part 01.
This is just another part of my playthrough of Junkyard Simulator by PlayWay. The devs dropped a huge update last week, adding a completely new mechanic and bringing back an old one as well.
For the new stuff: players can now purchase a plot of land divided into smaller parcels and then start their scrap business from scratch by cleaning respective areas, building specific placeables and hiring workers. In a nutshell, it is a source of passive income that some requires micro-management. The cleaning part is very similar to games like House Flipper or Railway Station Renovation - in general, it is a nice casual activity, but some objects to clean require a bit too much time (like pallets). I also wish that the new placeable facilities were more interactable and required manual loading/unloading/processing.
As for the old mechanics, players can now load scrap manually onto one of the vehicles that stands, by default, next to the first workshop.
In this part of the playthrough, I buy the new parcel, clean some areas and then try to earn a quick buck by dismantling a vehicle... but I forgot how that process works so I had to end it half way through :D
