There is something weird going on with the boars in this game, it seems. After the Erymanthian boar bug (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sem_654XZcY), this time I encountered a glitch involving its Kalydonian cousin. The boar started off with attacking me normally, then as soon as I hit it with the spear, it run away in panic and climbed on the rocks on the verge of the arena, where it remained for the rest of the battle. It didn't jump back down even when I went up there and hit it again. Additionally, the smaller boars never appeared.
