Kameo: Elements of Power (Stream Archives) - Part 2

Welcome back to Kameo: Elements of Power...sort of. The first couple of hours of the game were pretty good overall. I enjoy the spirit system and getting used to the different abilities of each one. Then came the Water Temple, and along with it Deep Blue, a spirit who's main use is underwater. Not gonna lie, I am not a fan of underwater movement and firing. It doesn't help that you can't lock onto enemies so actually aiming at them, including ships that can fire bombs at your location while you're firing at them, can be a bit of a chore.
I made it to the boss, but could not get past him because you have to use Major Ruin to knock bombs into the boss to get him to go underwater so you can use Deep Blue to attack his tentacles. Lining up your shot with the bombs can be a bit tough since the boss will shoot lightning at you (which hurts quite a bit), and I almost had him defeated until it stopped registering my attacks for some reason. After a few tries I was getting way too frustrated and decided to just stop before I did or said something I was going to regret. Thankfully the game will start you right where you left off so I can resume at this boss whenever I decide to try again, but at this point I'm probably going to put Kameo off to the side for now. I was really wanting to enjoy this game, but I feel like I hit a brick wall that requires the two spirits whose actions I have difficulty working with. I apologize now for my frustrations with this, but after this I'll be putting Kameo on the back burner for a bit.
