So against all characters except those with S tier throw range Karin (at least for now) her forward throw leaves her far enough from opponent that she can throw them, but they cannot throw her.

You can hold downback and even if they forward throw, you are too far but perfect distance to throw them.

Against characters with S tier throw range (Alex, Dictator, Zangief, Birdie), you input back~forward during their throw startup after wakeup, and you will shimmy your hurtbox out of their range but still be in their face. This also lets you block all reversals except for command throws.
