This video is about Karnov on the NES (released by Data East in 1987) is a side-scrolling action platformer starring a fire-breathing, strongman hero named Jinborov Karnovski—better known simply as Karnov. Originally from Data East’s arcade title, the NES version is a slightly reworked port. The bosses in Karnov NES are large and unusual monsters that guard each stage, often taking up a big chunk of the screen. You’ll face creatures like a giant fish that leaps out of the water, a three-headed dragon, a cyclops that throws boulders, a genie that hovers in midair, and even a tyrannosaurus rex. Most bosses have simple but tough attack patterns, requiring careful dodging and well-aimed fireballs or items. The final showdown is against a two-headed flying dragon, a fittingly difficult end to Karnov’s strange journey.
