The 'Scythe' Liz is using is of course an axe, but it's really designed to look like a scythe. Its called the Soul Remover (how fitting). Although it does not get as strong as the genuine Rank 12 axe, it makes up for it with its cool looks - the Rank 12 axe just looks silly. Axe gameplay really shines in solos, the slow skills reward you with excellent downing power and the guard skill (Lumberjack) enables chaining through attacks that can not be countered by other weapon classes.
