For those that play games on Linux OS and fancy some Battlefield Bad Company 2 multiplayer.
Yes EA killed the servers, but a community by the the name of Venice Unleashed have created a way to continue playing with all your rank and unlocks - Project Rome.

1st goto https://veniceunleashed.net/project-rome and download the file.

2nd extract the file and place the .dll into your BFBC2 folder in steam.

3rd place this code into the launch options.

4th Enjoy on Linux.

5th If you haven't already create a Venice Unleashed account and from there you can transfer your EA rank and unlocks from BFBC2 and obviously login and play.
