The Dash Ability is unlocked near the end of the story, after returning from the Village Heart region to the main Village. You can then perform a Dash by pressing L1+R1. This will make you warp forward a few meters and deals damage to any enemies it hits. The attack deals damage in a very small radius (about 1 meter / yard). So the enemies need to be extremely close together for this to work and you can only do it in the late game after acquiring the ability.
A good location for this is the first enemy group on the Mask Maker path of the Village, which is immediately after getting the Dash ability. There will be 3 small enemies and some ranged enemies that don't move. Weaken them up so they'll die in 1 more hit. The non-moving ranged enemy is an easy target to hit. Now just lure the 3 smaller enemies near it and do the Dash on the group.
