I understand the challenges of capturing the game just the way you envision, particularly when you're unable to position the camera precisely where you want it or get too close to your characters without them vanishing.
What's proven to be incredibly beneficial is the ability to customize the camera movement speed, empowering me to produce stunning cinematic clips and drone-style footage.
This tool is designed to simplify the process of creating attention-grabbing thumbnails aswell !!

I would like to thank the team at Lofi games for giving me the honor of early access Kenshi's New Free Camera Mode.
The team at Lo-Fi Games is focusing on Kenshi 2 right now so they did not have the resources to build anything too fancy into this tool.

Kenshi Free Camera Mode controls
; - free camera (unlocks the camera from the ground)
W A S D - Movement controls
HOME, END - Vertical movement
Q, E - Extreme camera tilt - goes full 360°
Mouse wheel - Adjust camera movement speed (forward scroll = faster, backwards scroll = slower)
Shift + ; - Camera Grid
TAB - Macro mod (Reduces clipping from 0.5m to 0.1m)
F7 - Toggle Main GUI
Print screen - Copy screenshot to clipboard
F8 - Take screenshot (May Differ: it was F12 for me)
