To be honest, this was mostly a boring non-event of a slog--I really don't like doom_v2 because it's 8 waves of playing to get to the fun part--but I enjoyed hanging with the people in the queue and it's a win, so it goes up on the channel.

I was surprised by how well SWAT held up under these circumstances, and it was weird having a rearward player throwing CC first, which led to several mistakes. Regardless, we powered through and cleared it out in one shot. I don't think SWAT will really scale past this cycle in future runs, but it was actually quite nice to have around until the heaviest peaks.

The Blitz category is a hybrid between the traditional CD and Time Attack gameplay models.
In this category, the MaxMonsters increments by 1 for every 90 seconds of wave time (aka "Match Time").
Time spent during the Trader and Lobby do not count toward this interval.
ZED Time slows the timer's speed by 80%.
The ultimate goal of this category is to place an emphasis on efficiency. Win the match before things snowball out of control. Strategies which save time are heavily rewarded, while slower tactics (e.g. kiting) are punished.

doom_v2_plus_rmk is a simplified version of doom_v2_plus, a SpawnCycle well known for its challenging Large ZED squads on Waves 9 and 10 that can snowball things out of control very quickly.
The _rmk (remake) version of the cycle features a slightly relaxed set of squads on those waves, but is still very challenging nonetheless. The difficulty of this cycle is mostly seen in its high-volume Large ZED spawns, rather than a fixed influx of Large ZEDs.
