Wrapped up another map. This one took us 2 sessions, and we ended up settling on playing it in the converge from the start of each wave. I'm not really a fan of that strat--it cuts a lot of interesting play out and feels cheesy and a little gross--but the majority of what I brought us here to focus on was the four-man lane and the T-Spawn fallback, and I'm confident that we'll be able to add the first stage back in when we come back at 64mm. I'd much rather beat it in the 3-stage format.
Tibbs was gone today and Leg's wrist hurt, so we swapped Leg to med and Bel took over the solo lane. Notably, that solo lane is particularly unhinged on a cycle like APM because it's fed by many spawners, so the evenly distributed large spawns result in a high likelihood of very nasty gigas. This is especially magnified in this version of the map, (HazardousMonkey's, as opposed to Teri's version played in EU), since the solo lane is fed by many spawners in the basement. I'm pretty sure that's what was causing the intervals of recurring gigas. The basement spawners would all go off together and bring a lot of larges in clustered together. You can see in the vod that I spent a great deal of time rotated.

APM is a middle difficulty cycle, comparable to OSFFI_v1 in the early waves and TS_MIG_v2 in the late waves. It's structured in the steady flow of NT and features a strong emphasis on medium zeds, especially husks. Players should be prepared to manage targets at all ranges in both real- and zed-time, and waves are designed to produce minimal or no scrake trains and challenge the team down to the last few zeds.
APM means both "Actions Per Minute" and "Aggressively Persistent Malice."

The precision category limits perks to Commando, Field Medic, Gunslinger, Sharpshooter, Support, SWAT (the traditional perks of CD).
