I haven't uploaded in a while, haven't I?

I finally found some time to record again, so here's KF-Origins. This is a map that I found while going through ModDB and exploring the first two mapping contests for KF1 back in mid-2009 and early 2010. This was one of the maps submitted, but it was rejected... and I wonder why?

I have had to fix this map several times now because it has quite a few game-breaking bugs. For starters, the map uses a unique .ogg file for its music (which it uses in every single wave). However, the mapper was so proud of it that he made it so that the music blasts at 10x its original volume, causing earbleed (not to mention that music won't play if you don't have the actual .ogg file in your game's directory, causing the game to stream other tracks in its place and causing the players tinnitus). Then, the game had no pickups originally, so I had to manually add all of them. Finally, there's quite a few places you can get softlocked in, some of which I missed (you can see such spot in the video and I had to use an admin command to get out of it).

That aside, while the map's aesthetics and looks and premise look great, the map plays like total dogwater. It is atrocious how awful it plays. The map is way, WAY too small to traverse, ZEDs constantly get stuck everywhere, and all the "spots" to camp in have some kind of obnoxious caveat that seems to screw players over. The spot that I chose in this video could be considered a pseudo-cheese spot, but as you might see once the door goes down, you really have to fight for your life.
