KH3 - Data Young Xehanort but the floor is lava
17The fact that KH3 lets you do stuff like this is so much fun. This was the first data battle I fought and the first one where I tried to do a "floor is lava" run, so I especially remember this fight.
Fortunately, he follows you for pretty much every attack he uses so the fight actually wasn't that different than fighting him on the ground, though I did have to change how I dealt with a couple moves. The risk dodge combo, in particular, I couldn't take advantage of since the attack flings him towards the ground. The only move that doesn't follow you into the air is the single unblockable strike he does after he disappears for a bit. Because of that, the fight actually gets so high up that we eventually reach the vertical barrier of the arena.
During the fight, I do make some mistakes here and there that result in me losing height, but the very fact that even with those fumbles the fight was able to stay in the air is really neat IMO.
