Vexen is the first Org fight that Riku does. It's a pretty easy fight, just a little gimmicky is all, but not the bad kind of gimmicky (I'm looking at you Parasite Cage).

*Strategy*
You should know how Vexen fights by now from Sora's story. You can't just rush him with regular attacks, his shield will stop them. Instead, break his attacks for a free combo. You can also Duel him, since it's risky to combo him because he may randomly break your combo. His main attacks are really slow, so you can easily pick the correct card to duel him.
His Sleights are pretty easy to dodge except Diamond Dust, break that one. The others you can dodge with Dodge Roll.
