Kid Klown in Crazy Chase Game Sample - SNES/SFC
NEW VIDEO.
One of the more original games for the SNES/SFC, Kid Klown in Crazy Chase is a fun but also frustrating game where you race against the clock (or rather, a fuse) to reach the end of the level with four card symbols to stop a bomb from exploding. As the klutzy Kid Klown, you're out to stop a rough space clown known as Blackjack, who has kidnapped the love of his life (but not hers), the beautiful Princess Honey, who hates macho men and just wants a real clown.
There are various mini-games and each level is trickier than the last with loads of obstacles and gags that try to slow you down. Collecting all four cards clears the level. If you clear the level without them, you won't die, but you start the level over again and have to find what you missed. You basically run with the d-pad and can only jump, but it's an interesting concept given the rest of the game.
The music is as you'd expect (typically with a hint of silliness) and the graphics are very vibrant and everything moves smoothly. The game has a lot of animations and the like to enjoy and really adds to the cartoony nature of the game, as everything is well-represented. If you can clear each level getting the cards the first time around, you gain "Honey Hearts", which supposedly do something special near the end of the game. We also own the GBA port. The game is somewhat uncommon. Enjoy.
