9The two Kill Bill films were made in a single production and were initially planned as a a single release, which Tarantino split into two films to avoid having to cut scenes. Volume 2 was released six months after Volume 1.
Volume 2 received a slightly less positive reception when compared to volume 1 and grossed $30 million dollars less but still made over $150 million worldwide bringing both film’s totals to around $330 million from a $30 million budget.
