Kill Rebels & Mutants In This Impressive XCOM-like Turn-based Adventure | Chains of Freedom Demo
3Hello everyone! This is another one of the best demos from the latest Steam Next Fest. This is Chains of Freedom, a tactical turn-based adventure (not a roguelike) that plays similarly to games like XCOM, while adding a few different mechanics. The turn-based combat is challenging and a lot of fun, and building characters feels satisfying. I liked that "gem" addition that sadly I couldn't fully use because it was getting late for me, but it felt great.
Graphics are outstanding and there is also a lot of story put into this one (the military/political type).
