Japanese-inspired Hack & Slash Roguelike | Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade Demo Gameplay
Hello everyone! Here we are with more demos that were part of the Steam Next Fest. This is Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, an action roguelike with a lot of really cool mechanics (big fan of parry), but with a few bad decisions that ruined the experience for me. Even when combat was fun, upgrades were boring (which is pretty bad for a roguelite). But the most important thing, boss fights were boring... Just damage sponges. Also, they decided to make the alert for attack in the octopus boss dark grey... Even when the stage is full of ink and the sea also is also looking that color, making incoming attacks really hard to detect, especially if they are close to the boss.
Sadly, this demo has way more content than the one I'm showing you here (3 playable characters, more weapons and who knows what else), but I wasn't really feeling it, after getting disappointed with that boss fight, so... sorry about that, but you should definitely check it out if you are into roguelites.
